Indianapolis, Ind.--Today, Joe Donnelly’s campaign for U.S. Senate highlighted Joe’s work with Senator Dan Coats and other members of the Indiana delegation calling on the EPA to change the assessment of central Indiana’s air quality which is inhibiting job creation in the region.
“This is how Hoosiers work: putting partisan politics aside to get things done for our state,” said Donnelly. “I’m proud to work with Senator Coats and other members of the Indiana delegation on issues important to our state, including this common sense fix that the EPA needs to get done to make central Indiana attractive to job creators.”
Donnelly and Coats headlined the coalition of Indiana leaders calling on the EPA to update their assessment of central Indiana’s air quality. They have not updated their designation since 2005, and the fact that they have indicated central Indiana as not meeting those standards hurts job growth.
