Indianapolis, Ind.--Tonight, Joe Donnelly issued the following statement following the presidential debate.
"Mitt Romney highlighted tonight just how far out of the mainstream Richard Mourdock's 'my way or the highway' approach to politics is by rejecting it on a national stage. I have long said I'll work with anyone if it means one more job for Indiana families, and I'm pleased to see the need for greater bipartisan cooperation in the spotlight."
Governor Romney: "No I have to respond to that. My experience, as a governor, is if I come in and lay down a piece of legislation and say: 'it's my way of the highway,' I don't get a lot done.
